I know a lot of people don’t see what the fuss is about and can’t stand anything with pumpkin flavor (like my mom
—how can we be related?), but I’m obsessively into this season. I’m talking full-blown pumpkin fever. It all started with lattes and these amazing pumpkin spice Eggo waffles and now I can’t get enough. In an effort to combat this, I decided to make something pumpkin over the break. Naturally, pumpkin pie had to be first. I used Martha Stewart’s recipe and it turned out tasting fantastic. Well, fantastic except that it had to go without the fancy meringue that I completely failed at making and had to substitute with Cool Whip but we won’t talk about that.
I also made a separate Pinterest board for everything pumpkin. Next on my list to try is pumpkin pie french toast, pumpkin pie cheesecake and pumpkin spice latte cupcakes. I’ll get over it eventually.
