The heat has turned up dramatically in the recent weeks, and there was a slight blankness that came over me when I thought about what I’d want to wear in this warmer weather. I have no trouble admitting that I was very upset to see winter go. I can also admit that I’m not exactly a flip flops and short-shorts type of girl, and that I prefer layers upon layers with a scarf on top and a blazer any day. However, I can’t burn myself up in winter attire that I didn’t get to wear and luckily, I found myself almost excited for Spring by finding what will definitely be my staple pieces this season.

Love for patterns and bright colors is nothing new in my life, but as of now it has become an “I’m obsessed with you, please come to me in every shape and form” type of admiration. Florals don’t frighten me at all, and I’m no stranger to neon. In fact, I enjoy looking every bit like a highlighter. Oh yes, Spring, bring it on.
